A lot of dating sites are an utter waste of time – my brother tried them. Single girls (nice ones) don’t have to go through a site to find a decent chap, in fact some girls I know have had bad experiences on dating sites. Examples are a 55 year old guy who marketed himself as a 27 year old, who told my frined 2 minutes into their first face to face conversation that he had a hard-on and wanted to know how she can help deal with it. She quickly headed to the train station, the guy followed and while she was standing at the platform, from behind he wan*ked over her coat and skirt.
That sort of thing gives dating sites a bad name and puts girls off. So, try other avenues.
