Mate joined an online dating site, now what?
ByMy husband joined an online dating site. He doesn’t know that I know yet. We’ve been married about three years. We are in our mid 50s. I’m ready to kick him to the curb. Should I forgive and keep him, or release him so he can date?

Since he joined an online dating site it means that he is considering one of two things…either cheating on you OR finding someone that he can leave you for. Either way it is very serious. You cannot trust this man and you should get rid of him. If he tells you he is sorry you cannot believe him for he will only continue to do this in secret.
I’m very sorry for you! This is so hard to deal with. I wish you the best and hope you find someone who will be faithful to you as you deserve.

Confront him. As another answer stated, he may be merely window shopping. All the same, adultery in the mind is arguably still adultery. The desire is obviously there, if not the intent. It’s time to figure out what’s breaking down in the relationship. Infidelity and a seriously wandering eye are as often as not caused by a lack of satisfaction in a relationship. Perhaps he is not getting something he needs, or perhaps he’s just a jerk. Either way, I strongly suggest you two discuss this as the adults you both are. If you cannot move past this, give him the boot.

Do what I did when I discovered the same thing: I hacked his dating site account and switched his interest to man seeking woman to man seeking MAN. You should have seen some of the eligible bachelors going after him. lol

Well, he certainly will have no trouble moving on from you. Give him the push he needs and throw him out.
