What If My Ex Wants More Space, How Do I Get Him Back?

A powerful relationship is something almost everyone has experienced in their life. Everything seems so perfect when all of the sudden your ex breaks it off because he wants more space. There are lots of different reasons as to why an ex boyfriend suddenly needs more space, insecurities, maybe family problems, or fear of commitment just to name a few. If you are questioning to yourself, why does my boyfriend need more space, here are some tips to help answer the age old question “how to get my ex back”.

- You are not going to allow him to get the best of you, or lose your pride, however it is clear that you area still in love with him. At first it may be idea to play a little hard to get, in order to show him clearly, it was his loss not yours.

- You may feel like your ex boyfriend still has feelings for you, if so then it may be a good idea for you to strike up a conversation with him. Keep your communication with him to a minimum; this will keep the level of drama at a lower level. Remember he may actually want and need you, so short text messages, brief phone calls, and conversation in passing are all a great way to remind him how much he does want to be a part of your life. Doing it this way should not overwhelm him.

- If all goes well, eventually he will begin to show an interest in you again, and this will give you the chance to truly begin to reminisce with him. In the past you should have had some good memories, you should focus on the good times in your relationship. During the rekindling process of the relationship with you ex boyfriend, you will want to stay away from the bad experiences and negative experiences, you see they may conjure bad feelings and undo all your hard work.

- If you’re ex boyfriend is not responding to your slow and subtle advances, you should take this for what it is. Either he just is not interested in you right now, or he really does need a little space and you should give it to him. However, if on the other hand he seems to be interested in you, or is slowly warming up to you again, then you should continue to gradually advance on him to rekindle the relationship.

- If you’re ex boyfriend is giving you the right signals, you may want to open your heart up to him. Let him know how you feel, but avoid looking desperate or needy in the process. If you are getting signs that your ex is thinking about rekindling things, it would be healthy to open up to him. However, if his signals are pointing in the other direction, it would be wiser to step back and let things happen more naturally.
